The Geroscience Brain Health and Metabolism Center - GERO (Centro de Gerociencia, Salud Mental y Metabolismo) is the first center in Latin America dedicated to study aging. It is funded by the Program for Research Centers in Priority Areas (FONDAP) of the National Research and Development Agency (ANID).

MISSION

GERO offers leadership, infrastructure, training and resources to link our work with researchers, students and the civil society with the aim to improve Chilean people’s quality of life by increasing the healthy life time.

VISION

Become in a reference research institute on aging for Latin America, connected to an international network of researchers.
